Okami Sequel Revealed: Okamiden

cuuuuuute!
Okamiden: Chisaki Tayou, thats the full name of the rumored DS title both by a new trademark filled by Capcon and a 7-Eleven posting referring to the next issue of Famitsu, is now out and about with some details, pics and even a little trailer.
The cute little puppy above pictured, Chibiteratsu (word play with Amateratsu, previous game main character and Shinto deity) is taking the main roll, following the previous game a few months after its conclusion. Using the Celestial Brush in combat and to solve several puzzles is going to happen, obviously using the DS stylus. There aren’t that many details about new elements of gameplay besides the fact that cooperation with your partner, Kunimushi (also pictured above), or other characters, will be needed in certain points of the game.
Nevertheless, Tokyo Game Show isn’t very far away, we will have some more info then.

New Blizzard MMO Is Going To Be Significantly Different From World Of Warcraft
Paul Sams, Blizzard COO in an interview with Wired:
I think the game is going to be significantly differentiated enough. Such that, you’re not going to feel like they’re one and the same resulting in that you have to pick or choose. My feeling is that they’re distinct enough to where you’re going to say, “Okay, I have all my friends over here. I dig this, I have a lot of time and energy in this, I’ve got these characters and my guild, and this that and the other.” So I have connectivity there, and I want to continue that connectivity. But man, I think, “Well, this is awesome, and I want to go check this out too.”
So now you can cut connection with the outside world and pretty much ruin any kind of contact with actual people in two different ways. Awesome!
Seriously though, while its good to see Blizzard stepping out of their comfort zone known has World of Warcraft, I can’t help but think about the few problems we already have with WoW.

God of War I and II Coming For The PS3 (picture via Kotaku)

How many God of War logos are enough?
Despite having a little graphical upgrade with anti-aliasing 2x, 720p resolution, 60 frame-per-second and some updated textures to fit HTDV’s better, there isn’t new content or gameplay features, since both games are ports, and so unchanged in that matter. Eveything you know and love is there, plus Trophy support! And who doesn’t love Trophie’s?
John Hight, director of product development at Sony Santa Monica Studio:
No, we’re not tweaking anything. If we open up that can of worms, we would probably spend another year trying to right any wrongs we may have had, or areas that were perhaps a little more difficult in retrospect than we had hoped they would be. Instead, we kind of took the stance that we want it to be the pure experience, what people would have played when they played God of War originally.
As for a release date, SURPRISE! No 2009 launch for Europe! So yeah, Christmans release for Americans, probably early 2010 for us. Whats the old up? Translating the trophies ?
